6 Quick Actions You Can Do Today (and every day!) to Balance Your Child’s Chakras

1  Follow a routine in the morning. Establishing this secure foundation to start the day helps a child feel safe and secure, grounded and connected to his family. (Chakra 1)

2  Make some time for fun, particularly a dance party! Move, groove, let it all out, singing is a bonus! (Chakra 1, 2 and 5)

3  Dinner time or car pool discussion: What was your biggest challenge today? When did you take a risk? How did it feel?  What mistakes did you make today?  (Chakra 2, 3 and 5)

4  Give a 3 minute massage at bedtime with lavender scented oil .  Lavender balances all chakras and is calming.  Massage helps to release stress and get your child into his body and out of his head before bedtime.  This is particularly good for kiddos who get nightmares.   This eliminates them for my night screamer. (All Chakras, especially 1, 3, 4 and 6)

5  Create a habit of asking your child what emotion they are feeling and where do they feel it in their body? This develops emotional intelligence and encourages self-expression. (Chakra 2 and 5)

6  Give thanks at mealtime.  This can be a blessing, prayer or simply silence.  Blessing your meals creates a connection to the greater world and spirit for your child. (Chakra 7)
